About CONCERN

CONCERN is a private non-profit 501 (c)(3) child welfare organization dedicated to meeting the needs of abused, neglected, and delinquent children and youth.

Since 1978, CONCERN has been at the forefront of foster care, believing that children benefit greatly from being placed with a traditional family rather than in a residential facility or institution.  Since it’s inception, CONCERN has served over 14,000 children and teens.

As an agency, CONCERN offers a variety of services in addition to traditional foster care, including placing teenage mothers with their babies in foster homes, offering counseling and mental health care, and providing adoption and permanency services.

The Southeast Regional Office, located in Willow Grove, places children from Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, and Delaware counties into loving, supportive foster homes throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania.  Our regional office also has additional services for the children in our care, including Life Skills and Independent Living Training for youth preparing for emancipation from the foster care system.
